Around NW 2nd Avenue

Wynwood is a grid of former warehouses turned open-air gallery, with murals on nearly every wall. The shopping is spread along NW 2nd Avenue and the numbered streets from NW 23rd to NW 27th, and it rewards wandering: half the fun is the side street you did not plan on. Shops generally open around 11am and close at 7 or 8pm, while food and ice cream run later, especially Friday and Saturday.

Start at the Walls

The Wynwood Walls, founded in 2009 by preservationist and developer Tony Goldman, is the mural park that put the neighborhood on the map. Entry is ticketed. The Wynwood Walls Shop (2516 NW 2nd Ave) sells limited-edition prints, art books, apparel and collectibles by the participating artists, and is open daily 10:30am to 6:30pm, with last entry around 6pm.

Steps away, Pitusa (2501 NW 2nd Ave) is Clara Lago's beachwear label, founded in 2010: cover-ups, dresses and kids' pieces in Peruvian pima cotton and Indian gauze, made under fair-trade practices. Further north on the avenue, Wynwood Kollective (2719 NW 2nd Ave) sells original art, handmade goods and Miami-themed gifts from local artists.

For the history behind the walls, the Museum of Graffiti (276 NW 26th St), founded by artist Alan Ket and Allison Freidin, has a permanent collection, rotating galleries and a gift shop of prints and books. Admission is $16.

NW 26th Street: Boutiques and Chocolate

NW 26th Street, east of 2nd Avenue, is the densest shopping block. Osme Perfumery (164 NW 26th St) carries niche and heritage fragrance houses such as Floris London and Eight & Bob; it is closed Mondays. Next door, KHIANI (162 NW 26th St) is a Miami-founded, family-run shop for jewelry, shoes and bags, and Simona (127 NW 26th St) combines fashion, beauty and nail services. Ben B Coco (170 NW 26th St) is a kosher-certified chocolate factory making bonbons, bars and gift boxes, with vegan and dairy-free options, so it is the gift stop.

NW 25th and 24th Streets

Menswear starts at OFY (171 NW 25th St), Ofir Farahan's shop, carrying mostly its own loungewear, basics and Florida-themed collections. Mejuri (219 NW 25th St) sells everyday fine jewelry in 14k gold, silver and vermeil, with free styling appointments and an on-site piercing studio.

On NW 24th, Boho Hunter (314 NW 24th St) stocks designers from Mexico, Peru and Venezuela: straw bags, Panama hats, statement earrings and Brazilian swimwear. Hapa Kristin (194 NW 24th St) is a K-beauty shop with Korean skincare and makeup and on-site beauty services.

One block west, Billionaire Boys Club & ICECREAM (2545 NW 3rd Ave) is Pharrell's roughly 5,000-square-foot flagship, designed by Snarkitecture, with a 7-foot bronze astronaut by Daniel Arsham. It stocks BBC, ICECREAM and Human Made.

South on NW 2nd Avenue

Head south on the avenue for the last cluster. BASE (2215 NW 2nd Ave) is a multi-brand menswear store that moved here from Lincoln Road, with designer labels, sneakers, books and its own fragrances. Next door, Glottman (2213 NW 2nd Ave) is Wynwood's long-running design shop for one-off objects, 3D-printed jewelry, lighting and work by local artists.

Tip: Parking is metered (pay through the PayByPhone app) and private lots fill fast on weekends. Arrive before noon, or come by rideshare at night.

Vintage, Upcycled and Market Finds

Wynwood's secondhand scene is mostly in its markets rather than standalone shops. Wynwood Marketplace (2250 NW 2nd Ave) is an open-air market and event space where local vendors sell vintage clothing, handmade jewelry and art, with food trucks and live music. Wynwood Tribe (2200 NW 2nd Ave, Suite 107) focuses on fair-trade, upcycled and artisan-made clothing and accessories for men and women.

For something with real history, Rupees (415 NW 27th St) has been in Wynwood since 1994, selling sarees, Bollywood fashion, menswear, jewelry, incense and home décor. While you are on NW 27th, Neroli Blume (132 NW 27th St) is florist Sabrina Cohen's studio, making sculptural bouquets and arrangements daily; it is the best last stop if you are heading to dinner at someone's house.

The Vintage Detour: MiMo

For dedicated vintage, drive north to the MiMo stretch of Biscayne Boulevard. Fly Boutique (7235 Biscayne Blvd) is a long-running consignment shop with dresses, boots, bags and jewelry mostly from the 1920s to the '90s, plus designer pieces and vintage furniture. UmaLu Vintage (7648 Biscayne Blvd) is a sister-run archive of '90s and 2000s designer pieces from Dior, Jean Paul Gaultier, Cavalli and Dolce & Gabbana, named Best Clothing Store 2026 by Miami New Times.

Coffee, Bread and Dinner

Start with coffee at Panther Coffee (2390 NW 2nd Ave), the original 2011 roastery-café of Miami's best-known specialty roaster. For lunch, Zak the Baker (295 NW 26th St) is Miami's defining bakery and is in the MICHELIN Guide's Miami selection, with naturally leavened loaves, pastries and breakfast plates. It is kosher and closed Saturday; hours are Sunday to Friday 7am to 5pm.

For dinner, Hiden (313 NW 25th St) holds a MICHELIN star: an omakase counter reached through a passcode door, with fish flown in from Japan several times a week. Hiyakawa Miami (2700 N Miami Ave, #5) serves omakase in a sculptural wood-slatted room, and Ossobuco (62 NW 27th St) runs a wood-fired grill for dry-aged steaks and smoked lamb, with a patio. Both are in the MICHELIN Guide's Miami selection. Close it out at Salt & Straw (246 NW 25th St), open until midnight every night.

Tip: On the second Saturday of each month the Wynwood Business Improvement District runs its evening Art Walk, with galleries open and local vendors out. It is a good night to visit and a hard night to park.
